Sexual Assault Victim Services (SAVS) Grant

 

SAVS grants are provided by the Wisconsin Department of Justice.  To be eligible for a SAVS grant an applicant must be a nonprofit or public agency which provides or proposes to provide the following services to sexual assault victims: 

 

  • Advocacy and counseling services
  • Crisis telephone services 24/7
  • Professional intervention and prevention education
  • Services for victims with special needs or that are hard to reach such as rural residents, men, children, elderly, disabled, and other underserved groups

2012/2013 Application Process


The 2012/2013 SAVS application process will be continuation funding. Continuation funding means that only current SAVS grantees can apply for funding. The funding level will be the same as 2011/2012 level.
