Oconto Falls Police and the Wisconsin Department of Justice -- Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Arrest Several Suspects in Joint Meth Investigation 
 

MADISON — On Wednesday, May 28, 2014, special agents with the Wisconsin Department of Justice -- Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), with assistance from the Brown County Drug Task Force (BCDTF), Oconto Falls Police Department, Oconto County Sheriff’s Department, and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), executed a search warrant at 249 Birch Avenue, Lot 15, in Oconto Falls, as the result of an ongoing investigation into the manufacture and distribution of methamphetamine.  The Oconto Falls Fire Department and Oconto Falls Emergency Medical Services also assisted at the scene. 

 

During execution of the search warrant, investigators discovered and seized processed methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a methamphetamine production laboratory, as well as items necessary for the production of methamphetamine, including chemicals and precursors necessary for the production of methamphetamine.  Four suspects who were present during the execution of the search warrant were arrested on various charges related to the manufacture and possession with intent to deliver of methamphetamine, and child endangerment.  Charges are pending through the Oconto County District Attorney’s office.

Nicholas R. Block, of Oconto Falls, DOB 03/11/1986

Joseph P. Anderson, of Oconto Falls, DOB 09/17/1989

Wendy S. Pogrant, of Oconto Falls, DOB 01/29/1963

 

Further information will be made available by the filing of criminal complaints by the Oconto County District Attorney.  A criminal complaint is a document alleging violation of the criminal law and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
