Michael Neuendank, of Ringle, WI, Charged with 11 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography
MARATHON COUNTY — On Friday, February 14, 2014, special agents with the Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), with assistance from the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, executed a search warrant at Michael Neuendank’s residence, located at R10875 Weston Avenue in Ringle, WI. According to the Criminal Complaint, an on-scene forensic preview by a DCI analyst of a hard drive located in a laptop computer found in the dining room uncovered several images/files consistent with child pornography. In an interview at the Marathon County jail with DCI special agents, Neuendank admitted to viewing and saving child pornography, according to the criminal complaint.
On Monday, February 17, 2014, a criminal complaint was filed against Michael Neuendank, charging him with 11 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a felony. An initial appearance is scheduled for February 17, 2014, at 2 pm in Marathon County.
The Marathon County Sheriff’s Department is a member of Wisconsin's ICAC Task Force. Questions concerning this case should be directed to the Marathon County District Attorney's Office. A defendant enjoys the presumption of innocence. The prosecution must prove its allegations at trial beyond a reasonable doubt.
