Special Agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Partner with the Wisconsin Dells Police Department and Columbia County Sheriff's Office in ICAC Operation

 

Bobby J. Taylor, Jr., of Wisconsin Dells, Charged with

Ten Counts of Possession of Child Pornography

 

MADISON — On Thursday, August 29, 2013, special agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), with assistance from the Wisconsin Dells Police Department and Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at the home of Bobby J. Taylor, Jr., located at 1111 Plum Street in Wisconsin Dells. 

 

According to the Criminal Complaint, during a forensic preview by a DCI analyst of a laptop computer seized at the home, video and image files consistent with child pornography were located.  Printed images of children as well as children’s undergarments also were located at the residence, according to the complaint. During an interview with a DCI special agent, Taylor admitted that he had child pornography stored on his hard drive and external hard drive, according to the complaint.

 

On Tuesday, September 3, 2013, Taylor was charged with Ten Counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a felony.  An initial appearance in this case is scheduled for today at 2:00 pm.    

 

Questions concerning this case should be directed to the Columbia County District Attorney's Office.  A defendant enjoys the presumption of innocence.  The prosecution must prove its allegations at trial beyond a reasonable doubt.
