Parker G. Voltz, of Walworth, Charged with Two Counts of Possession of Child Pornography and One Count of Sexual Exploitation of a Child
MADISON — On Tuesday, April 16, 2013, special agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), with assistance from the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office and the Village of Walworth Police Department, executed a search warrant at the home of Parker G. Voltz, located at 318 Howard Street in the Village of Walworth.
According to the Criminal Complaint, a DCI agent reviewed images recovered from a MacBook computer taken from the defendant’s home during the search warrant. A preview analysis of the MacBook revealed images and a movie file consistent with child pornography, according to the complaint. In an interview with a DCI special agent, Voltz admitted to downloading and sharing child pornography. On Thursday, May 2, 2013, the criminal complaint was filed, charging Voltz with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a felony; and one count of Sexual Exploitation of a Child, a felony. An initial appearance is scheduled for 1 pm today in Walworth County.

A defendant enjoys the presumption of innocence. The prosecution must prove its allegations at trial beyond a reasonable doubt.
