Randall R. Berth Arrested, Charged with 20 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography
MADISON — On Monday, March 18, 2013, special agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), with assistance from officers with the Watertown Police Department, executed a search warrant at the home of Randall Berth, located at 804 Pheasant Run in Watertown. According to the Criminal Complaint, agents seized three USB drives and a computer hard drive from the residence.
According to the Criminal Complaint, a forensic review of images recovered from one of the seized USB drives uncovered images consistent with child pornography. In an interview with investigators at the Watertown Police Department, Berth said he has been addicted to child pornography for about three to four years, according to the complaint.
On Tuesday, March 19, 2013, Berth was charged with 20 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a felony. A preliminary hearing in this case is scheduled for March 28, 2013, at 8:30 am in Jefferson County Circuit Court.
