Michael W. Keller Arrested, Charged with Five Counts of Possession of Child Pornography
OCONTO — On Friday, October 12, 2012, Special Agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice -- Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), with assistance from the City of Oconto Police Department, executed a search warrant at the apartment of Michael W. Keller, located at 111 Van Hecke Avenue, in the City of Oconto.
According to the criminal complaint, a forensic preview of an external hard drive recovered from the apartment uncovered approximately ten video files consistent with child pornography. Items seized during the search warrant include miscellaneous documents, hard drives, VHS tapes, a disposable camera and compact discs. According to the complaint, “Keller stated he had last accessed and viewed a child pornography video file” the night before the search warrant was executed. Keller has been charged with five Counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a felony. An adjourned initial appearance is scheduled for November 6, 2012, at 2:00 p.m.
