Jay Allen Babcock charged with 10 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography
MADISON — On Tuesday, June 19, 2012, Special Agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice -- Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), with assistance from the UW-Madison Police Department, executed a search warrant at the residence of Jay A. Babcock, located at 2924 Harvey Street, Unit 3A, in Madison.
According to the criminal complaint, an on-scene, forensic preview of a computer hard drive uncovered images consistent with child pornography. When asked by agents if there'd be child pornography on hard drives, Babcock replied, “I think you know the answer to that,” according to the complaint.
Babcock has been charged with 10 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a felony. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 3, 2012, at 8:30 a.m.
