Attorney General Van Hollen will address students during the General Assembly TONIGHT at 7:30 p.m. in Ripon
MADISON — Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen is pleased to serve again as the keynote speaker at this year's General Assembly of the 71st session of Badger Boys State, the weeklong program of The American Legion Department of Wisconsin.
Every June, nearly 900 high school seniors attend Badger Boys State (BBS), where they form a "51st state," and according to the BBS website, they “carry out all the main functions of city, county, and state government using basic laws and fundamental procedures of the State of Wisconsin as their guide.” Attorney General Van Hollen's remarks this evening will incorporate the theme of "Building Leadership for Tomorrow."
