Reminder: Department of Justice to Host First of Three Public Hearings on Rules for Concealed Carry Law

MADISON — On Monday, July 16, 2012, the Department of Justice will host the first of three public hearings on the proposed permanent rules for 2011 Wisconsin Act 35, the state's “Concealed Carry Law” that took effect on November 1, 2011. The purpose of these hearings is to elicit feedback from members of the public on the proposed permanent rules.

Two other hearings will be held later this month in Green Bay (July 24) and Pewaukee (July 25). Individuals unable to attend may submit written comments no later than 4 p.m. on August 1, 2012.
