Shannon D. Davis Arrested, Charged with 10 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography
MADISON — On Monday, January 23, 2012, Special Agents from the Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), along with members of the Rock County Sheriff's Office and Clinton Police Department executed a search warrant at the residence of Shannon Davis, located at 418 Church Street in the Village of Clinton, WI.
According to the Criminal Complaint, upon a review of some media on a hard drive from a laptop computer, child pornography was recovered. Davis was arrested and has been charged with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a Felony.
Seized as a result of the search warrant were computers, numerous items of computer media, miscellaneous documents, digital cameras and multiple firearms.
The Rock County Sheriff's Office is an affiliate of Wisconsin's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
Questions concerning this case should be directed to the Rock County District Attorney's Office. A defendant enjoys the presumption of innocence. The prosecution must prove its allegations at trial beyond a reasonable doubt. Davis is scheduled for an adjourned initial appearance February 8, 2012, at 1:00 p.m.
