Edward L. Caputo Arrested, Charged with Five Counts of Possession of Child Pornography
MADISON — On Friday, January 06, 2012, Special Agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ), Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), along with members of the Madison Police Department, executed a search warrant at the residence of Edward L. Caputo, located at 1505 Dondee Road in Madison.
According to the Criminal Complaint, Caputo admitted to special agents that he has downloaded and viewed child pornography, and stated that he understands possession of child pornography is illegal. Seized as a result of the search warrant were computers, numerous items of computer media and miscellaneous documents. Upon a forensic review of some items of computer media, child pornography was recovered and Caputo was arrested for possession of child pornography.
Caputo has been charged with five counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a felony.
The Madison Police Department is an affiliate of Wisconsin's ICAC Task Force.
