Wauwatosa— The Wauwatosa Police Department and the Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) announce today that Benjamin Sebena, of Menomonee Falls, was booked last night into the Milwaukee County Jail, on a tentative charge of First-Degree Intentional Homicide in the December 24, 2012, death of his wife, Wauwatosa Police Officer Jennifer L. Sebena. Additional information surrounding the investigation into Officer Sebena's death will be made available through the filing of a criminal complaint by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office, at which time an initial appearance will be scheduled for Mr. Sebena.
The Wauwatosa Police Department would like to thank the following agencies for their valued assistance in this investigation:the Wisconsin Department of Justice -- Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department, the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office Investigators, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Milwaukee Police Department and the West Allis Police Department.
