MADISON — Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced today that Waupaca County Circuit Court Judge Philip M. Kirk sentenced Chad W. Magolski on a charge of First-Degree Intentional Homicide in the death of James Park.
Judge Kirk sentenced Magolski to a life sentence in the Wisconsin State Prison System without the possibility of parole or extended supervision. Magolski was previously found guilty at a jury trial on March 29, 2012.
The charges are the result of an investigation by the City of New London Police Department and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) of the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
Assistant Attorney General David J. Wambach is acting as Special Prosecutor in the case.
