MADISON — Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen has announced that Wisconsin residents, media and public officials now may keep informed about what's happening at the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) through its official Twitter page.
The DOJ will post links to news releases, information about the Attorney General's expected appearances, links to opinions and columns, as well as photos and other updates affecting the department and its law enforcement activities.
“As a proponent of open government and transparency in government, I look forward to yet another way of communicating with the people of Wisconsin,” Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen said. “This is another step in making sure people know what we do at the Department of Justice and how it may affect their daily lives.”
