NEW LONDON – Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced today that a New London man has been charged with First-Degree Intentional Homicide in the December 2007 death of James L. Park, in the city of New London in Waupaca County.
The Criminal Complaint, issued May 24, 2011, alleges CHAD W. MAGOLSKI, 35, intentionally caused the death of JamesL. Park in Park's New London apartment in December 2007.
Magolski is scheduled to make an initial appearance at 1 p.m. in Waupaca County Court.
The matter was investigated by the City of New London Police Department and the Wisconsin Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation.
Assistant Attorney General David J. Wambach is acting as Special Prosecutor in the case.
The charge in the complaint is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
