WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AGENTS PARTNER WITH WAUPACA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT AND THE STATE OF OREGON DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
Revis D. Engle of the Town of Lind (Waupaca County) Arrested
WAUPACA – On August 31, 2010, law enforcement officers from the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigation and Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department conducted an interview of Revis D. Engle (DOB 09/14/1990) in regards to information which had been received that identified the address N1499 CTH E, Town of Lind, as a location from where an individual was using e-mail to exchange child pornography images.
According to the criminal complaint, during the interview, Engle admitted to his involvement in exchanging child pornography images via e-mail and identified an e-mail address used as a repository for child pornography images.
A warrant was authorized by the Waupaca County Circuit Court for the newly identified e-mail address, which identified numerous sexually explicit images of children and child erotica images saved in Engle’s e-mail account.
On May 2, 2011, Engle was charged by the Waupaca County District Attorney’s office with seven counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
Questions concerning this case should be directed to the Waupaca County District Attorney’s Office.
