MADISON – Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen has appointed Christina McNichol to the position of Special Agent in Charge of the Milwaukee High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA).
Christina joined the Division of Criminal Investigation in June of 2004. Since then, she has worked on a variety of different cases, including narcotics, violent crimes, and financial crimes investigations.
Christina is also a member of DCI's Child Abduction Response Team and DCI's Crisis Negotiation Team. Prior to her career with DCI, Christina graduated at the top of her City of Milwaukee Police Recruit Class and went on to serve as a Police Officer in Milwaukee's 2nd Police District.
Christina holds Bachelor's Degrees from Marquette University in Spanish and Criminology and Law Studies.
“Chris McNichol will be a great supervisor, working with our partners at the HIDTA. She has a wide range of experience and I am very pleased to have her on our command staff,” said DCI Administrator Ed Wall.
McNichol began her new assignment on June 19, 2011.
