GREEN BAY – On Wednesday, June 15, 2011, law enforcement officers from the Wisconsin Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation and the Green Bay Police Department initiated a search warrant at the residence of David J. Townsend, located at 1837 Rowe Lane, Green Bay, Brown County, WI. As a result of the search warrant, numerous computer items of evidentiary value were located. According to the criminal complaint, a forensic preview of a computer hard drive belonging to David Townsend identified numerous files containing sexually explicit images and videos of children.
David J. Townsend was subsequently arrested and transported to the Brown County Sheriff's Department, and charged with two counts Possession of Child Pornography.
