WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AGENTS PARTNER WITH MADISON POLICE DEPARTMENT IN INTERNET CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN OPERATION
MADISON – On Wednesday, June 1, 2011, Special Agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), along with members of the Madison Police Department executed a search warrant at the residence of Thomas Valley, located at 6167 Dell Dr #2 in Madison, WI. Seized as a result of the search warrant were numerous computers, and numerous items of computer and other digital medium.
According to the criminal complaint, upon review of some items, child pornography was recovered and Valley was arrested for possession of child pornography.
Mr. Valley was arrested and charged with 20 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography (Repeater).
Questions concerning this case should be directed to the Dane County District Attorney's Office. The Madison Police Department is a member of the Wisconsin Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
A defendant enjoys the presumption of innocence. The prosecution must prove its allegations at trial beyond a reasonable doubt.
