MADISON - Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced that on February 1, 2011 former City of Fox Lake Police Chief Patrick F. Lynch was bound over for trial on allegations of sexual assault of a child under the age of 13 and stalking after a preliminary hearing before the Honorable Andrew P. Bissonnette. The allegations are felony charges.
The charges are the result of an investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and the Dodge County Sheriff's Department. “Investigation and prosecution of cases involving those who prey on children are a high priority of the Department of Justice."
Arraignment is set for February 17, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. before Judge Bissonnette.
