Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen and Local Law Enforcement Officials To Meet the Press Related to Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest Marijuana Grow Operation


MADISON – Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen, Ashland County Sheriff Mick Brennan, and representatives of the National Forest Service and the Drug Enforcement Agency will meet with the media tomorrow morning to provide information and answer media questions related to the investigation, arrests, and eradication efforts ongoing at this time in Ashland County twenty-five miles northwest of Park Falls, Wisconsin in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest.

Four individuals thought to be related to this operation remain at large. Weapons were recovered in connection with this operation.
