Green Bay Police Department Amber Alert for Shawn Tucker
GREEN BAY – The Wisconsin Department of Justice issued an Amber Alert activation on Thursday, April 13 at the request of the Green Bay Police Department, which had asked for assistance in locating a missing four-year-old child, Shawn Tucker. Shawn was believed to be with an adult male identified as Terry Lee Shepard, and a description of the suspect vehicle was also provided. The police department had reason to believe that the child was in danger due to Mr. Shepard's violent history.
This afternoon, Shawn Tucker and Terry Lee Shepard were located in the Green Bay area. TheGreen Bay Police Department has advised the Department of Justice that Mr. Shepard made arrangements to return the child safely after seeing the Amber Alert broadcast.
Wisconsin has had 21 Amber Alert activations since its inception. Each was successful, andtheactivations have resulted inthe saferecovery of 29 children.
