MADISON - Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen has appointed Special Agent Dennis Drazkowski to be the new Special Agent In-Charge of the Wisconsin Statewide Information Center (WSIC) for the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
For the past three years Dennis has been assigned to the Milwaukee satellite office of the WSIC where he has been interacting with area law enforcement and private sector agencies on financial related criminal investigations. Prior to working for the Department of Justice, Dennis served more than 29 years with the Milwaukee Police Department where he retired with the rank of Captain.
"Dennis has a long and impressive law enforcement career," said Van Hollen. "He is well respected throughout the Department and has done an outstanding job."
The Wisconsin Statewide Information Center (WSIC) was formed after the U.S. Department of Homeland Security mandated establishment of intelligence fusion centers in every state. WSIC serves as the primary intelligence-gathering entity for the State of Wisconsin, working with state, local, military and federal agencies. WSIC offers sophisticated intelligence-gathering efforts statewide, and produces intelligence briefings for the Governor, top law enforcement officials and partner agency heads throughout Wisconsin.
