Van Hollen, the Cal Ripken Senior Foundation, volunteers from the Outagamie Sheriff's Department, Appleton Police Department, Grand Chute Police Department, Neenah Police Department, Appleton Fire Department, and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
The program provides about 200 young children in the Appleton area an opportunity to build character and learn life's critical lessons while being mentored by public safety officials in many of the police districts throughout the Fox Valley. This partnership sets out to build relationships and mutual respect between children and law enforcement all while providing a structured setting of learning, curriculum and value of teamwork.
