Jeffery L. Starkey of Campbell Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography

TOWN OF CAMPBELL - On July 14, 2010, Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) agents, assisted by FBI agents and Town of Campbell Police Department officers, executed a search warrant for child pornography at 410 Central Rd in the Town of Campbell, WI.

According to the criminal complaint, Jeffery L. Starkey has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography. According to the complaint, upon questioning, Starkey admitted to downloading child pornography for the past two years and that he knew it was illegal.

Questions concerning this case should be directed to the La Crosse County District Attorney's Office.

A defendant enjoys the presumption of innocence. The prosecution must prove its allegations at trial beyond a reasonable doubt.
