Badges for Baseball is a program that was brought to Wisconsin last year and is a partnership between Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen and the Cal Ripken Senior Foundation. In the first year, the program provided between 200 and 300 young children in the Fox Valley area the opportunity to build character and learn life's critical lessons while being mentored by public safety officials in police districts throughout the Region. After the initial success of the Milwaukee program in 2009, the program expanded to include young children in the Fox Valley area.
