Moon played a key role in the investigation of the Pizza Man fire. Moon alerted in an isolated area in the building and as a result prompted investigators to collect evidence for analysis which led to the determination that some form of accelerant was used to ignite the fire.

Moon is certified as one of the top Arson Dogs in the country and has been very useful in many situations where an act of Arson is suspected. Moon is one of many resources that Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen has devoted to local fire service.
