Gerald A. Gardner Jr. of Janesville Arrested
JANESVILLE – On Thursday, November 18, 2010, Special Agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), along with members of the Janesville Police Department executed a search warrant at the residence of Gerald A Gardner Jr, located at 1419 Saint Lawrence Avenue, Janesville, Rock County, WI.
Seized as a result of the search warrant were three laptop computers, numerous items of computer medium, a digital camera, other items of with data storage capabilities, and miscellaneous documents.
After completion of a preview of a laptop hard drive, Gardner was interviewed and arrested on December 9, 2010. During a search of computer hard drives sexually explicit images of children (child pornography) were located.
Gardner was charged with Five Counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

The Janesville Police Department is a member of the Wisconsin Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
A defendant enjoys the presumption of innocence. The prosecution must prove its allegations at trial beyond a reasonable doubt.
