APPLETON — On August 11, 2010, Matthew A. Jansen was charged with one count of possession of child pornography. The criminal complaint was filed after a search warrant was served October 14, 2009 at Matthew A. Jansen's apartment at 2915 West Fourth Street, Grand Chute, WI. The search warrant and later forensic examination of a computer belonging to Jansen identified sexually explicit files of children.
According to the criminal complaint, Jansen admitted to downloading and viewing child pornography on a number of occasions. Officers with the Appleton Police Department and the Grand Chute Police Department assisted DOJ Division of Criminal Investigation agents with the execution of the search warrant.
