WI DOJ Agents Partner With Wausau Police Department and ICE Agents in Internet Crimes Against Children Operation

Keith J. Peters of Wausau Charged With Three Counts of Possession of Child Pornography

WAUSAU - On Thursday, September 3, 2009, Special Agents from the Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), along with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Wausau Police Department executed a search warrant at the residence of Keith J. Peters located at 524 Hamilton Street, Wausau, WI.

Peters was charged with three counts of Possession of Child Pornography. He made his initial appearance on September 4, 2009.

Questions concerning this case should be directed towards the Marathon County District Attorney's Office.

A defendant enjoys the presumption of innocence. The prosecution must prove its allegations at trial beyond a reasonable doubt.
