AG's Car is One of 6 State Vehicles the Department of Justice Returns to Department of Administration Central Fleet in Economy Measures
AG Vows to Continue to Seek Efficiencies and Cost Reductions at DOJ
Madison - Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced today he had directed the return of the car assigned to his office to the Department of Administration Fleet. This comes as the Department of Justice reduces its fleet by five other vehicles previously in use at the Department.
"I can drive my own car and did much of the time anyway," Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen said. "While the AG has traditionally had a state car assigned, I can sure do without it. It's one small way I've identified to cut costs that allow us to continue to deliver services to law enforcement and our clients."
