Joel Schielzeth's Bond Condition Prevented Access to the Internet
MADISON - Joel Schielzeth of Stoughton was arrested on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at his residence at 2611 County Hwy. B in Stoughton, Wisconsin for felony bail jumping with the assistance of the Stoughton Police Department.
On December 18, 2008 Schielzeth signed a Dane County Circuit Court signature bond for case 2008CFR002333 in which Schielzeth was arrested and charged with exposure of a child to harmful material. As a condition of the bond, Schielzeth was not to access the Internet. However, from 1/21/2009 through 1/26/2009, Schielzeth engaged in online communications in the Internet social networking website Facebook.com with Santa Cruz County (CA) Sheriff's Office Sgt. Joseph Heartsner. Heartsner was posing in an undercover capacity as a seventeen (17) year old female.
Questions concerning this case should be directed towards the Dane County District Attorney's Office.
