Mark L. Rasmussen of Milwaukee Arrested
MILWAUKEE - On February 13, 2009 at 11:35 a.m. special agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation along with agents from the U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) executed a search warrant for computers and items related to child pornography at the residence and tavern of Mark L. Rasmussen at 524 E. Lyon St., #1, Milwaukee, WI after the suspect purchased into child pornography internet sites.
A search of both premises was conducted and computers and computer media were located in the home. A law enforcement forensic preview was done on Rasmussen's home computer and many child pornography images were located.
The images were described as prepubescent children displaying genitals and engaged in sexual activity. Rasmussen was interviewed subsequent to the search warrant. He stated that he has seen sites that advertised child pornography and would then pay to access these sites, view the images, and then delete many of the images he thought were underage and preteen children.
Rasmussen was arrested and transported to the Milwaukee County jail.
