Anthony C. Wendt of the Town of Menasha Arrested
MENASHA On Friday, August 14, 2009, at approximately 2:55 p.m., Anthony C. Wendt was arrested, without warrant, for alleged possession of child pornography, while at his residence, located at 807 Louise Road, Town of Menasha, WI.
Subsequent to being arrested, Wendt was transported to the Winnebago County Jail by the Town of Menasha Police Department.
During a search of computer hard drives and storage devices, sexually explicit images of children (child pornography) were located.
According to the criminal complaint, Wendt was subsequently interviewed, and stated that he downloaded the images of people under 18 on August 14, 2009 for trading purposes. Wendt admitted that he "should be held accountable" for what he did.
Mr. Wendt was arrested and charged with 2 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
