MANITOWOC - City of Manitowoc Police and the Wisconsin Department of Justice have announced the arrest of AMY L. KLINE, in connection with the death of John Michael Sciortino, in July, 2007 in the City of Manitowoc. KLINE is accused of First Degree Reckless Homicide.
The Criminal Complaint, issued August 26, 2009 alleges KLINE caused the death of Mr. Sciortino by her delivery to him of a Schedule II controlled substance, namely Methadone.
This matter was investigated by the City of Manitowoc Police Department. The Wisconsin Department of Justice is acting as a special prosecutor in this matter at the request of the Manitowoc County District Attorney.
