Statement By A.G. Van Hollen On The Passing Of Attorney George K. Steil, Senior

"COUNSELOR-CITIZEN-FRIEND"

I am saddened to lose George. His passing is a great loss to Wisconsin and his beloved Janesville. His public service and private counsel has brought great things to Wisconsin - we will miss him. George leaves a legacy of friendship, good humor and fair dealing. My prayers and sympathy go to Mavis - his children and grandchildren, his law firm family, and the people of Janesville who have lost a champion.
