MADISON - Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen will appoint Michele Wink to be the Victim Services Director for the Wisconsin Department of Justice. Wink's first day with the Department of Justice's Office of Crime Victim Services is October 6, 2008. Michele currently serves as the Director of Grants and Evaluation with the Task Force on Family Violence (TFFV) in Milwaukee.

Over the years Michele has served in several different leadership capacities in programs and agencies in the Milwaukee area, including Director of Finance and Administration and Director of Outreach and Education at the TFFV.
The Director of Victim Services position is responsible for statewide programs and initiatives that promote and enforce the rights of crime victims under Chapter 950 of the Wisconsin Statutes. It also responsible for statewide administration of support, monitoring, funding and evaluation of county victim/witness programs in District Attorney offices around the state. Additionally, the director supervises staff who provide direct services to victims and who serve the Crime Victims' Rights Board.
