STATE SEEKS TO REVERSE JUDGMENT IN WET MATTRESS CASE
 

MADISON Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced today that the Wisconsin Department of Justice filed a motion seeking to reverse judgment and have the court enter one in its favor because there was insufficient evidence of liability in the case of Reggie Townsend vs. Jerry Allen.

In addition, the state is arguing that the damages awarded were excessive. In the alternative, the state asks for a new trial.
