MERRILL - Special Agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation along with Investigators Mike Hamann and Pat Wunsch and Officer Mark Heckendorf from the Merrill Police Department yesterday arrested Kraig A. Kowalski.
On Thursday, November 6, 2008 a search warrant was executed at the residence of Kraig A. Kowalski, located at 301 E. 1st Street, Merrill, WI. A search was conducted and charges have been forwarded to the Lincoln County District Attorney's Office.
Kowalski was charged with 9 counts of possession of child pornography. Various computer equipment was seized.
Questions concerning this case should be directed towards the Lincoln County District Attorney's office. Kowalski's initial appearance is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today.
