Attorney General Van Hollen Diagnosed With Kidney Stone

MADISON - Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen was transported to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison this morning after experiencing severe discomfort in his abdominal region. He was evaluated by attending emergency room physicians and diagnosed with a kidney stone. He will return home this afternoon and a full recovery is anticipated. The Attorney General is expected to return to his duties on Monday.

The Attorney General's Office will keep the public informed of any unanticipated changes to the Attorney General's condition. The University of Wisconsin Hospital has requested that all inquires be directed to the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
