The Crime Information Bureau Record Check Unit provides criminal background check services to public access requestors, government agencies, and law enforcement agencies. The Record Check Unit performs searches based on name, sex, race, DOB, and SSN. The Record Check Unit also provides criminal record checks based on fingerprint identification. The fees charged for record check services are authorized by Wisconsin State Statute 165.82., general ($7) daycare ($10) caregiver ($10).
