ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
Administrative Services has a technical support unit which
provides specialized investigative support to the Division of
Criminal Investigation and to Law Enforcement agencies
statewide.
Specialized training for law Enforcement officers throughout
Wisconsin is coordinated by the Administrative services section
of the division. The specialized training programs include Arson
Investigation, basic drug investigation and death investigation.
This section also provides management of budget & fiscal,
public records, and supportive services to the Division.
Individuals wishing to obtain records from the Division of
Criminal Investigation should send a written request to DCI
Administrator Michael G. Myszewski P. O. Box 7857, Madison WI
53707-7857
It is helpful to include as much information as possible,
including names, dates of birth and other identifiers, dates and
locations of any incidents in question and a concise but
specific description of the material being sought. If the
investigation is closed, copies of the requested materials will
be mailed to the requester. If DCI has no relevant records, or
if an investigation is still ongoing. the requester will be so
advised in writing.
